Through Vidyakiranam initiative, the State government intends to build a popular education system and to turn public schools into centres of excellence by enhancing both the teaching and learning process through the state of art infrastructure provided for the purpose.
The basic aim of the project are, to provide all children access to quality education, to effectively utilize technological innovations for creative learning, to provide social justice and equality of opportunity in education sector, to evolve a comprehensive vision, to create action plans to guarantee children's rights to quality education,to utilise large-scale peoples participation initiatives, to comprehensively reform the curriculum, and to develop school master plans.
